Summer Lashes~!

 Who's ready for summer lashes?!

Eyelash extensions are perfect for the summer weather because you don't have to deal with mascara or worry about your makeup running down your face. It will save you so much time in the morning and more time to enjoy your summer activities. Here's some lash tips you should keep in mind to keep your lashes lasting longer and look amazing at all times.

1. Keep them CLEAN!

Your lashes lasts longer if you keep them clean by washing them everyday. Use your lash shampoo with your cleansing bush and work your bush to get in between those lashes~! Don't be afraid to wash them! Washing your lashes before your lash appointment will give us more time to work on your lashes, than spending the time to clean them. Clean lashes also gives the best retention ~! 

2. Stay away from oil based makeup!

Use a felt tip or eyeshadow instead of oil based pencil liners.The oil from the makeup will transfer and loosen up the adhesive bond. 

3. Brush your lashes EVERYDAY!

Keep your mascara wands with you and have them around to brush your lashes when you need to . It's important to brush them after you wash your face or after you get them wet. Brush  them back into place to keep them from sticking together, especially if you have volume lashes, fluff them out to keep them looking full and fluffy. 

4. Keep up with your lash fills!

I can't stress this enough. Every fill is different. Some fill might not take as long and your next fill might take longer. Our lashes are on a cycle and depending on how fast your lashes shed, grow and extensions stay on, your fill times will vary. You might wonder why your lashes didn't last as long or vice versa, it all depends on your aftercare and your lashes! Fills shouldn't go longer than 3 weeks. We shed about 2-5 lashes a day .In one week,  we'd lose  21 , two week  42  and about  63 by the third week. The average person have about 90-120 lashes per eye !
